Your First Purchase

Well done everyone. We raised enough to buy our first Sensory Projector and three “wheels”. It was sent on Monday by air freight so if we are very lucky (and Thai customs permitting) it will arrive in Chaing Mai the same time as Helen returns. What a beautiful Christmas present.

LED-Sensory-Projector

This is the latest model by Opikinetics and has features especially designed for a sensory environment. It is strong, robust and easy to look after. It can be remote controlled with large, child-friendly, switches. This enables children to interact with the projection – stopping and starting the display or the motion (though we could not afford this accessory just yet). Best of all it uses super-bright LED technology, which means it runs cool to the touch and has a massive 100,000 hours life span. No worrying that you haven’t got a spare bulb.

We had just enough funds to buy three “wheels for the projector”. Butterflies, People of the World and Safari.

We would love to be able to send more wheels – there are many 100s to choose from. We would also like to be able to add the switch system too so please keep spreading the word so we can raise more hope and joy.

Finally Raising Hope and Joy would like to give a big thank you to OptiFanatics who normally supply to the disco and nightclub trade but have been absolute stars in helping get the latest equipment, at the best price and shipping the whole lot half way round the world!

Thank you all.
